• The story is set during the German invasion of Norway in April 1940. The Germans met an unsuspected and heroical resistance from the Norwegian air force, who could only oppose outdated Gloster Gladiators II biplane fighters to the Messerschmits. The Gladiators actually delayed the invasion for a few hours. Only one intact Gladiator remained at the end of the battle.
