The Dr Laurent street is one of the many streets of South 13th named after a doctor. It's a East-West street, so it has beautiful sunsets. Years ago, this little street had its own local movie theatre. In the 70s, small theatres became less profitable so some of them, including this one, started showing porn movies (a novelty back then). A few Brigitte Lahaie and Danish movies later ("150% erectometer rating at the Copenhagen Festival!!!"), even porn didn't make money. The cinema closed down, and stayed abandoned until the 90s when it was razed and replaced with a post office. Photo taken on 2003-09-21, Paris 13th, France
